I’m at that moment again. It’s a shift. It’s a change. Another mild stone. This moment is a little sad but full of joy at the same time. Momma has ushered the babies out of the nest. It’s been a long journey but a short one. Full of joy and struggle. I’ve loved every bit of it.
Part of this transition is learning. Learning how to let go a little but guide when needed. Also, re-learning how to be me. I have always been the Momma, guest educator, volunteer, parent and mentor to others. Many don’t know me beyond these labels.
It’s so easy to get lost in those labels. The labels are fine but only a small snapshot of who I am.
